iPhone 7 - emails are not displaying

Got new phone and setup in the car. Under Bluetooth -show notification is enabled.

I can see txt are coming thru and I can sent txt back thru handsfree.

However new emails are not showing up. I did reboot the iPhone and connected again. No luck...

Unfortunately one needs an Android or BlackBerry 10 smartphones to get emails.

Nope, this is not correct. Email are set up in the BMW connected drive website. Very easy to set up.
Got to connecteddrive.usa.com
Go to settings
Go to set up services
go to email accounts
add your emails addresses and you should be able to see your email in the system of your car.

i think theres a setting for text or emails or all messages, check message filters.

I think this make sense. It was Microsoft exchange email account.

I will test with iCloud email to see if it works.
