HUD appears stretched and tilt function not working

I noticed today that my HUD is looking a bit horizontally stretched (easy to tell with the speed limit sign being out of round).

When going into the settings, the brightness and height functions work, however the rotation (tilt) function doesn’t.

Any ideas why it went wonky all of a sudden?

So, just in case someone stumbles on this looking for an answer - this was fixed by charging the battery overnight.

My battery is 4.5y old and this happened after the car was standing for a week.

It seems to be a common theme that HUD issues are related to a bad battery. Replacing the battery solved my issues also.

Yep replacing the battery fixed my HUD, as well. It’s one of the first systems that gets cut from the car as the battery degrades.
