2017 exterior interior review
I liked it because of idrive 5.0 footage.
He does a mistake by saying it has gesture control. It does look like screen senses when he is about to touch the screen (it could be an idrive controller movement which I cannot see). |

My Windows computer has a touchscreen that I've used maybe twice.

Same here... I guess some gadgets work well with touchscreen e.g phones and some don't. Time will tell.

Touch screen is awesome for navigation.
Want to see how not to do touchscreen...see the MDX. Everything is controlled via touchscreen: HVAC, heated seats, radio presets. What a mess. |

Yeah, navigation w/o responsive touchscreen is like a stone age.
Touch screen itself is not bad, it depends on how auto makers will organize it. The worst one I saw was Ford explorer with Microsoft based thing. But if you look Tesla or Volvo XC90, it's pretty awesome. Its like all the touch screen phones before iphone came along had been unusable, but now it is a standard. |

I just can't get over the fact there is a giant monitor mounted on the dash on the Tesla. Seems their designers were too lazy to design a real center console.
