Extended Maintenance Plans

Considering purchasing a BMW extended maintenance plan for our '14 X5d, which will end its basic maintenance plan in a few thousand miles.

Since this is a BMW product, I expect it can be purchased from any BMW dealer, regardless of where maintenance is obtained under the plan, correct?

Are there any dealers who are forum sponsors? (thought so, but couldn't readily find any).
