New to BMW

Just picked up my '14 X5 35i - M Sport in mineral white about week ago. I had Acura TL type S which was totaled as i was rear ended. Its not fully loaded but it has few options ( i know there are some people out there think its missing lot) but happy with it.
When i initially started looking i knew it had to be M Sport or not getting a X5, after about 3 months of search all over US, found one locally.

Cold weather package

Driver Assistance package
20" double spoke M Wheels
Multi contour seats
rear manual shades
Adaptive M suspension

Harmon Kardon System

I wanted to have MPPK installed at the time of pick up but BMW dealership told me i had to wait couple days for the code to come in so just got it installed. Few upcoming plans for the X5:
1. Need to get clear nose mask installed (helps lot, even my previous car i had it)
2. M Black gloss Kidney Grille.
3. Front Windows tint.

Sorry i don't have many pictures as it has been raining here in Ohio like every day since i picked up the car. Looking forward to learn more about X5.

Congrats, there's a wealth of info and good people on this forum always ready to help . Enjoy your new ride.
Too bad about your Acura, that was my favourite model. Not too fond of the styling of the present ones.

I used to like that model of Acura TL too, I think it was the last Japan made TL.

Congrats and welcome to BMW world. X5 is a great vehicle and I see you have added Adaptive M suspension, its a great option. Besides replacing to black kidney grills, I would recommend the following two options that will give your X5 a bold stance
a) Lowering your suspension by 1" - AC Schnitzer
b) Wheel spacers 5/15mm

I loved that type s - had 146k at the time of accident and week before that family and i did 1800 mile roadtrip w/o any problems.

r33_RGSport - i will reach out regarding the knee support once PM becomes available. 3g TL was made state side. walked away scratched free so definitely no complains and thank god.

hdAge - I will keep those options in mind. btw i do see the fender insert and M decal on yours. Car looks great. i did get the insert installed (M is already covered but thinking about covering the whole 'X5M' with vinyl), also need to get the M performance decal installed since it came in.
