Product Review - Screen Protector

I am a little OCD and found this product for the screen, it works great. The install is very simple as long as you follow the instructions and prep it correctly. The fingerprint marks are significantly less, works very well.

Since mine isn't a touch screen, fingerprints aren't an issue.

We have a touchscreen in our 7er. I touched it once. Why anyone uses them like that is beyond me. It's too far away to touch from a good driving position and the iDrive wheel is so intuitive.

My laptop is a touch screen. I've touched it once, and that was to wipe away a smudge on the screen. I actually didn't even REALIZE my laptop had a touch screen until I wiped away the smudge.

the problem is, when you want to take it off, it'll likely take the outside coating off with it.

I grew up in a lower to low middle income family and remember my grandmother placing some sort of vinyl slip cover over her new sofa - wanted to protect it and knew another new one was way down the road.

Life has treated me very well and here I am leaving the Saran Wrap like protective cover on my X5 touch screen

Who knows, maybe it was not the income level but something in the genes !!!!

In all fairness, it's my work laptop. They just send me a new one every year. It's a Dell Latitude E7470. Very nice!

some other staff was having issues with her laptop, so they decided to give her mine, and give me a desktop. Handled terribly, none of my shit/access was set up when I walked in...took me 1 hour to get up and running.

really, it's better this way, no expectations to work at home/remote, also 1 less liability to get it stolen, and to sync it up to network and all that junk that comes with an issued laptop.
