new tires mounted, paint wheel weights?

So I just got a new set of Conti DWS06+ from DiscountTire mounted and balanced, plus I had them put new black TPMS sensors in to match my gloss black 469ms to complete the look. Lo and behold they used silver wheel weights which stand out like a sore thumb. I’m somewhat irritated that they didn’t use black wheel weights and maybe they didn’t have them, but I didn’t even think to ask. I figured it would be common sense.

Now I have to source a way to paint them. Does anyone know if I were to buy a small amount of Dr Color chip black paint with a small brush that it would work well? Or if you can recommend a black paint (non spray) that I can use to paint the silver wheel weights?

Never painted wheel weights. I assume any kind of extra weight on them will put the balance out, but honestly it couldn't be much. In reality, I don't fucking know lol

Thank you for the replies! I’ll find something I can use safely. It is such a small detail, but irritating when you’re trying to make everything just right and thought this would be the last! I was even excited I got the black TPMS installed to remove the old chrome ones, but now I’m back to square one. Lol

Just use a gloss black paint marker. They will disappear into the background.

The additional weight from doing this is insignificant.
