Transmission fluid change on 40e hybrid

From other posts and Youtube, I'm familiar with the general procedure. What I have question on is how to keep the ICE on for the trans to reach the desired temperature range for the 2nd fill up? In Park, it shuts off automatically. I can switch from P to to manual to keep the engine running, but I'll have to hold the brakes and can't crawl underneath the vehicle to fill up (unless I have a helper).

Is there a better way? I have ISTA-D but the service function doesn't indicate any hybrid specific procedures (tho ISTA-D knows that it's connected to a hybrid)

Doesn’t Sport Mode and Save Battery keep the engine running?

Save your time buy a Bluetooth obdii reader. You need to click a lot of buttons to read the temp using Isra. By the time you get there, tranny has already reached above the temp.

T_N_C: will give that a try to see if the engine will stay on in Park.

MH20jy: I am pretty comfortable navigating in ISTA-D so that or other handheld scanners isn't the main issue in my case.

Thank you all.
