2017 Bmw X5

Did any body get 2017 bmw x5.
Mine has been released to carrier but awaiting transportation at the port of exit from last 10 days.

My car dealer told me that the car is at the port and 2017 models have yet been released.

Anybody knows when the 2017 F15 will be delivered??

I'm in a similar situation. I get the same message when I call in and use the automated system and have been in that same state since Friday.

Have you called BMW Customer Service to get a detailed status?

When I talk to BMW CS, I'm told that my X5 was released to VPC on 8/5 and estimated to be delivered on 8/10 (ha!). They've also checked and reported back that there isn't a "delivery stop" on my X5 either.

BMW CS was telling me that expected delivery date was Aug 6th.
I should have got the car by last week itself.
No Idea why they are not shipping the cars on time!

My CA is saying they're not sure why the vehicles have not left VPC yet and will ask BMW NA.

Edmunds is reporting that "[2017 X5] is on the way to BMW dealerships" in an article that went up today (https://www.edmunds.com/car-news/201...-at-56495.html). I checked the actual BMW Press Group site but did not find anything to back up the claim.

According the last version of the 2017 X5 pricing guide on another forum, the MSRP for metallic paint is going up from $550 to $700 in the US.

Same situation, my 2017 X5 completed 8/5 and was supposed to reach the dealer 8/9. Still waiting for word...

Update...My advisor mentioned that there's a "ground hold by the EPA" and that's why it's still at the vpc.

I have heard the same. There is a hold on 2017 X5. Cars are held at VPC.
Any body knows how long it takes for BMW to get clearance?
It's frustrating to wait without any confirmed date.

Why has the X6M always been pricier than the X5M?
