Hat off to menelaos for being a gentleman about criticism.
It is his car and he likes it.

I like this section of the forum because more civilized and educated age group.
Please keep it going.

I agree. OP much respect for being an adult about it.

One concern besides it being ugly is would the covers inhibit the brakes to cool off when it gets hot? Not an expert on this but it's food for thought.

.. Developed after 43+years in this tough world my friend.
We'll see how this goes. Not perfect but better with them... would prefer 10K Brembos, but I have a daughter to raise.

And having just married off my daughter this weekend, all I can say is either have a ladder on the side of the house or start a wedding fund!

Am not that old fashioned. Don't believe in fancy weddings either. She can pick whomever she wants, but will emphasize to her to be self-sufficient....for her own sake...and mine.
As for ladder, yeah, will start saving more aggressively after the mods...for college, not weddings.

Well you still have to have the bear minimum at least unless they elope or do the JP thing. My daughter is self sufficient but not rich at this age (26), she's the Director of the Kids Club at the Weston Spa and Resort in Vail, CO. BTW ... I didn't pick her spouse

Was in Vail in April, quite a place, even though it was off season. Not there for skiing, but medical.
Am sure she enjoys her job, that makes her self-sufficient.
I personally had a civil one, plus a religious in Greece for wife's sake.
Daughter will have to make her own decisions, but having been to a 50K wedding, I don't think it's worth it.
Prefer she spends it on trips....and car mods!

I'm not defending anything, but "gay" was a very popular slang term for dumb, stupid, wrong, weird, etc. ("don't be gay" was the same as saying "don't be dumb" or "stop acting like a punk"...). NEVER was it anything to do with sexuality or sexual preference.

F@g was very similar, along with the normal British uses of the word (he spent his days fagging away at the factory / it's such a f@g to drive that far).

I grew up in a very liberal area, with very accepting friends and neighbors. Never was anyone anti-anything, especially for sexual preferences...and that was a long time ago, so you can probably guess what coast I was on.

Needless to say, we said gay and f@g all the time, was totally a friendly jesting thing, from childhood to adulthood, all of us, straight, gay, bi, whatever...because one had nothing to do with the other.

As long as someone isn't being hateful to anyone I have no problem with using any language, old school terms, etc. I have more of a problem with the ease of people being offended. No one can offend anyone without their permission. Being offended is a decision the offended person makes. I can decide to be offended by someone calling me a cracker, honkey, redneck, hillbilly, etc., or I can laugh. Sex, race, orientation, etc. are all facts...so they can only be offensive in an overly-PC world.

Love everyone, hate no one, choose happiness and a lack of living offended. I promise you'll live a better and more pleasant life, and so will everyone you love. That's what we teach our five kids. We keep it real for them, no censorship allowed, so they have no shocks in the real world, can deal with criticism, rejection, and disappointment...because that's far more important than knowing how to deal with a participation trophy.

BTW the forum censors the word F@G...funny since it is really a word (noun and verb).

Point understood, but I would never use it for someone's car mods... It's off topic, feel free to call me tasteless for the mod, but I do take exception when race, sexual orientation - preference does not exist in my vocabulary anymore- are involved.

Well, I just hope you stop using it, but it's your choice.
As for your opinion on the mod itself, I suggest you look a few posts up to find my answer.
