Hesitation when accelerating on highway
So recently I got a drivetrain malfunction light and got that fixed by BMW with some hoses being replaced due to a loose vacuum. 2015 X5 50i with 82k miles (engine replaced around 35k)
After that, I am noticing that my engine hesitates a little when I try to accelerate a little bit harder if I'm going from 55 to 75. It just feels like the car has the hiccups during that time - it still accelerates fine, but the little hesitations that I feel make ME hesitate and let go on the gas a bit. Any idea what it could be? Currently out of warranty and my lease ends in a couple months so hoping it's not some crazy $$ repair if I choose to get it fixed. |

A 2015 @ 82K miles, engine replaced @ 35K miles and its a lease?
What are your mileage allowances? If lease ends in a couple of months, I wouldn't care..

Yaa looks like I'm gonna take the "forget about it" route - luckily my company has an X6 that I can take instead so my current X5 will be seldom driven. |

Apparently on my way to Galveston a rock came in and punctured either the turbo intercooler or radiator? Was quite some time ago so don't remember the details. Anyway - all of the coolant leaked and caused some irreparable damage. Was covered under my insurance since it supposedly wasn't BMW's fault and was caused by factors on the road that I could not avoid. $27k repair bill
