Bmw -/+ control arm for an alignment

So getting an alignment and they said to make it within Bmw spec I needed to get this. Any info on this? Seems puzzling, but I’m not sure. I just installed a set of KW v3s yesterday.

Yeah I’m assuming that’s what they meant it explained a new control arm through Bmw. Was just curious cause I hadn’t heard anything about this on here at all. I got within .2 of where I needed to be on the front so don’t need it like they thought I might.

Any other members with KW v3s with this issue? Are you slammed really low?

I’m honestly probably halfway. So persay I’m about 2.5-3in I gap I’d say. So not all the way down, but not up all the way. I’m debating on going lower, but I’d rather not have to buy something else/ or have it realigned.

If you google search, you can see a lot of people have excessive wear on inner tire because they do not install camber kit after lower their car. It is either the toe or camber is way out of spec. This usually happen after 15k-20k miles. Most X5 that run RFT here is about to change their tire around this time.
