2014 F15.. ID4 or ID5?

Does 2014 F15 X5 has ID4 or ID5? Is it possible to upgrade to the newer?
Saw bimmertech website has ID5 to ID6 upgrade... I'm pretty sure I have ID4, not sure if there are any upgrade path available

There is always a way to upgrade it.
The question is, how much are you willing to pay to get it done?

2014 is iD4.

I have looked into this, you at least need the ID5\ID6 head unit and a rewired Gps antenna.

On top of that I think you need a way to make it work for your car specifically. Then you can add the new touch screen and new controller.. etc.

The power supply to the screen is also different. So you have to either modify your screen, or get a touchscreen.

2015 and up can get the lite version of 6. Think 2016/17 6 was standard.

I have a 2017 and it has ID5. I've coded it to ID6 lite.

I’m getting my headunit replaced under warranty on my 2015 and they said that I will be getting updated navigation so there will be a lot of coding necessary.... do I have ID5 now? And will I have ID6?

I dont think they will change it to ID5. What they meant is update the Nav maps to 2018 or something..
