X5 Purchase -- hoping for some quick help
I've searched the forum a bit but not finding what I'm seeking. So please forgive if the info is somewhere I could not find.
I'm looking to purchase a MY2018 X5 50i and am negotiating with the dealer. I wondering what I should be looking for but way of % discount off of MSRP. Dealer does not seem to be particularly motivated. I thought with the G series coming they'd want to make sure the F15s were sold quickly to make room. Thanks in advance. Duke Found the thread.

They'll probably be more motivated when the next gen actually arrives. But I'd start at least 10%. Even more towards the end of the year.

I usually negotiate from invoice and up. I would do invoice +$500 ~$1,000 as a purchase price.
Others will do around 7% off msrp which is pretty much similar. Seeing that the F15 is about to be done, dealers should be motivated to move their inventory. Maybe you need to find another sales guy or dealer.

I would expect something solidly below invoice on an F15 right now. I just ordered an F85 at invoice, and it isn't due to get the refresh for another year. F15 is dead man walking as far as life cycle is concerned, so it should help you with pricing. Shop around.
