Advice on getting both side of rear levelled with h&r links

Quick question for those who have lowered their x5m/x6m on h&r springs with links in the back, how did you guys get both rear sides to level evenly? Been adjusting them for months, but one side is always higher/lower a bit then the other side. You guys have any tricks or tips? Or is the only option trial and error, where u adjust and go for a drive?
