Adjusting KW Coilover Kit V3

I know it has been addressed before but just want to make sure I am doing it correctly. Right now the car sits a bit low for my taste. I bought the car with the KW V3 already installed and trying to educate myself.

1. From where do I adjust the height? top or bottom?
   
2. What is everyone thinks is a good combination between comfort and performance?
   
3. When I adjust do I got clockwise (+) all the way to the end and then I go counter-clockwise to the adjustment I want? is that the same for both settings?
   
4. Does the car needs to be off the ground on a jack?

Yes top/bottom
