Replacing inner door handle rubber trim?

Hi, has anyone replaced the inner door handle trim for a F15 mine got destroyed with parts of rubber coming off. New oem piece came in today but just my luck newtis is restricted. I've searched and found nothing for a F15 it was easy to replace them on my E70 as you didn't have to take apart the door but was told for an F15 door panel needs to removed as welded plastic nuts holding trim has to be drilled off. Taking off the panel isn't an issue but was wondering if any other steps are involved. Thank you!
