Adaptive M suspension question.

Hi guys,
My wife and I just took the delivery of her F15 XDrive35i M-sports.
we got the adaptive M suspension on our car. ok, here comes my question,
I got adaptive M suspension on my F80 as well, and next to the gear shifter, it has a button to set the damper. But, I don't see that button in her F15. am I missing something? or thats just how it is? maybe the adaptive M suspension is just a shock, not damper controlable?

Thanks guys.

On M cars, the adjustment for the engine, suspension, and steering response are can be set individually. While on non M car, everything is pre-set together with Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ setting.

on the X5, the M Adaptive means you can adjust the car's damper/shock valving and engine/trans characteristics. You can adjust what's being adjusted only the "sport" setting via the gear wheel in the top corner.

Best of luck!

Just make sure to go into idrive > settings > sport and check the drivetrain and chassis. And to activate the suspension you press the toggle to sport or sport+.

The Sport/Comfort button is on all X5 cars regardless if the car has a suspension upgrade or not.
For the adaptive m suspension, if you have the settings set for both chassis and drivetrain or just chassis the suspension will tighten up for a "sportier" and more compliant ride when you select the button to sport or sport+.

IF YOU DONT HAVE IT SOMETHING IS WRONG AND YOU DONT HAVE ADAPTIVE M SUSPENSTION
yeah, ALL of X5s has that sport/comfort button, doesnt matter if you got M suspension or not. I was looking for the damper button thats in M cars.
as other guys who replied, its all pre-set in the different driving mode. I thought bmw gonna give us the damper button, who has opted for M suspension lol
