I think they are yanking your chain and pushing you to a 35i. All the large dealers still have allocations available.

Hmm maybe. I would hope not since I am friend's with the owners. when I originally went in they mentioned thy had a lot of clients who ordered the diesel and were waiting for when the hold would be over.

I spent so much time going back and forth from gas and diesel, and liked both for different reasons but probably happy with either (and then on which damn options to get etc). So actually glad the decision was made for me.

That's why we are now reconsidering the 3rd row...we used to carry some items in our 2014, by simply folding down the rear seats all the way down...seemed like we couldn't do it on this one with 3rd row. Is that correct?
From my understanding, when you get the 3rd row you lose the possibility of rear comfort seats, which deletes recline and sliding.

See video below - at the end it shows 2nd and 3rd folded.

Order update

Spent some time with my CA while he combed through bulletins that would explain why my vehicle production was so far out. He mentioned that they had another 35d order for a NoLine vehicle get scheduled for Jan build. Turns out MSport and Lux as well as the 2PW option (469 Wheels) are currently on production hold. The bulletin was dated 12/4.

We switched the order to XLine (will have to get used to black flares) to see if the build date pulls in.

Trying to decide between these two. I love the color and wheels available on the non M Sport, but worry I would miss the M Suspension and paddle shifters for when I wanted to get sporty...

Longun 2 Like your spec. You will love the F15 compared with the E70.

No Winter Pack or Auxiliary Heating?

No, the winter pack doesn't offer much and although I love the idea of the aux heating I am fortunate enough to be able to fire the car up on the drive, securely, to allow it to defrost & warm up. If the aux pack wasn't so expensive I would have gone for it.
