Ive read on another thread on the x5m/6m side that the M3/4 electronic steering wheel fits our cars although they weren't able to confirm if you needed coding to get it fully functional. But besides that I read it was something to do with the bolt holding the wheel that allowed the M3/4 wheel to fit. If the M2 performance wheel fits the M3/4 then maybe it could potentially work.

Was told no by my dealer and tech. Different sizes. I have the M Perf wheel on my X6M it seems same size as M6 but bigger than M2/3/4 wheel. If you have one we can compare measurements.

You are correct the diameter for the 2,3 and 4 is smaller for sure. From the thread that I had mentioned in my previous reply, others had also mentioned that. But steering wheel diameter isn't the issue it's if it will bolt in.

I just got confirmation m2 or any other m performance steering wheel will fit our cars, as it has been done, however the heated option won't apply on m performance series, if that's a big deal to you, and the trouble signal may come off...
