Side vent DIY?

Anyone have a DIY technique for swapping out the side vents?

Yes, but my method requires you to break the tabs in the existing vents. It is a two step process:

1. Get ahold of the narrow bottom part of the vent.
2. Pull steadily until the tabs break and the vent comes off.

The new vents generally come with adhesive to attach them, but I added some 3M 30 pound double-sided outdoor adhesive tape

Hmm. Was hoping to keep the stock ones intact.

Hehehe.
Seems like almost no one doing it the hard way as I explained to you.
