Just got my 4.8is back from having a new suspension installed. After having the air suspension replaced 5 or 6 times over the years I couldn't take it anymore.

Oh yeah... I've heard about horrible 4.8is issues.

That suspension was the only thing I can complain about. That and maybe the heated seat that burnt through seat and my pants and almost caused me to go off the road while in college. Other than that the car is still running strong with a little over 100k miles. I still consider it the first x5m since the instrument cluster was identical to the e39 m5. The m division tuned everything on the car unlike the 4.6 that was tuned by Alpina (pretty sure it was alpina).
