We got a new oven and convection microwave last year or maybe the year before. Convection microwave is good to have small second oven in a pinch. It works well, but convection isn't quite the same as a regular oven. (Our full size oven is also convection / regular combo.) I expected convection to cook quicker but it typically takes a little longer than using the regular oven since it cooks at lower temp. Plus food looks a little different when done cooking - less browning meats and breads, for example. Still though, nice to have.

Great mod, cool sound. Considering actually about a Capristo Exhaust, but unfortunately this wouldnt change the look of the exhaust, but the sound.
Downgrading to S5 isnt an option, what a bummer

To me, coming from a Panasonic Plasma, the thing that will separate good tv's nowadays is contrast ability. OLED's are great because they have individual pixels that control light. Cheap LCD's have limited contrast (light control) over the whole display. But if you get a high end LED/LCD tv they have what's called FALD or full array local dimming, which is almost (ALMOST!) as good as OLEDs. If price were no option, i'd have bought an OLED but go to the best buy, look at a FALD display such as the one i bought and you tell me you are good with spending another $3k or whatever to get possibly slightly more contrast. IF you are, fine, but i'm not. Another great set is the Vizio P series. I went with Sony only because i trust the brand more.

As far as the price/size, most tvs are 65 or 75. $2k? see if the Vizio P series can be had near that price.

Nice.

The Rachio lawn sprinkler controller is total boss. I highly recommend it to those not familiar.

Lynx Defense 42" rifle bag. There are less-expensive versions of the same style, but quality and being completely Made In USA is important to me.

I'm assuming the backlight was a luminoodle. I've been kind of unsure how it positively affects viewing experience. Is it essentially just a lamp to give you some ambiance lighting vs having to turn on a lamp or light which would cause glare on the screen or are there other benefits? It's not expensive at $20 but not really sure I need one. Very happy with my 70" Samsung ku6300 but if this can kick things up a notch, I'd get it.

yep thats the one I got, its actually really cool. It was a pain in the ass to put on but I am surprised how some colors just bring out the TV. I have a glass bezel on my TV so it makes it look amazing. Well worth the $20. When you turn it on you will say wow, it does look really cool and being able to pick any color is awesome. I will take it off when a better established line comes out that actually changes color for whats on the TV. I'll get some pics of what my actual TV looks like.
