Yes, it is officially a real accepted word after being added to the OED a couple of years back.

Word.

It's slang in my book!

Can't afford one, wouldn't buy one, but looks truly dramatic, all BMWs should, well done!

Let's hope that we are wrong though and that it will indeed be a large GT 4 seater close to what the S Coupé offers

I personally find it stunning, but unfortunately the spyshots seem to show a classical front grille and not these new inverted kidney grilles that have previously been seen on the X2 Concept. Logically though all future coupés should get the inverted grille... And this amazingly curvy rear end seems much flatter on the production model, but again let's wait and see

The way I understood SCOTT26 was that only the X cars would have the new inverted grills, while the car line would continue with the classic BMW grills.

Yesterday's renderings (spy shots?) were a disappointment. The renderings of a few days ago were exciting.

It looks as if the exciting renderings were put before a committee of Buick designers who were told to round everything off and make the design as bland and soft as possible.

If yesterday's renderings (spy shots?) are it, BMW loses me as a customer for the 8.

Haha! Then prepare for total failure. Our lightly optioned F30 weighs more than that. Outside of the i3 and the Z4, BMW hasn't made a remotely light car in about a decade.

Oops, the Z4 isn't even sub 1,600kg in six cylinder trim. Zero chance the 8er will be anywhere near that.
