Are you running the pirellis with different load and speed ratings? I haven't been able to find a set of those tires with all the same specs.

I can attest to this. my 2012 5.0i had to have the injectors replaced twice. i've been running my 6 banger with the racechip and it's been fine.

Nope. Star marked is a way to scare you with BMW approved tires.

Edit: And does it matter? Are dealers strict with regard to warranty? |

Just want to ask you about the mpbk, for the x5m routers are they exactly the same size as the mpbk front and the back routers? Because I'm working with the dealer to get the thing set up, but they all told me is different size or either have to order different part. I really love the X5m style vs the solid one which came form MPBK... Please advise, thanks a lot |

Correct, the F85/X5M rotors are the same size as the 'blanks' that come with the MPBK.
The correct part numbers for the F85 X5M rotors are as follows: Front - 34112284901 (left) & 34112284902 (right) Rear - 34212284903 (left) & 34212284904 (right) You'll also need the HEX screws that hold the rotor, fronts are 34111123072 (1 per side) and the rears are 34211161806 (2 per side). If you want to run the rear rotors, you'll need to drill the rotor hat to work with the F15 hub. Our hubs use a single retainer bolt, the F85 uses two. I couldn't get the front hex bolts to sit flat / recessed in the rotor hat when I did my install, so I just used them for mounting the caliper and bleeding the brakes and then removed them before putting my spacers and wheels back on.

Or did you go to dealer to install it? Which one you recommend...? For your info it's much more difficult to install the rear parts because need to make the adjustment, you done it by yourself or the dealer did it for you? Sorry it's a lot of question but thanks a lot for the help |

To my knowledge no one with a non x5m has put rears on.
To have to drill properly is a drill press and your talking about the safety of a rotor and compromising it. Some have talked about changing the hub to fit. Not sure it can be done and what would be the cost. If you can get over the fact that fronts are cross drilled and backs aren't , then just live with the fronts being cross drilled. I know Mercedes sells cars like this. |

I did the install myself, took me about 6 hours. I hit a few snags, see my post for details - link below. If you're not a savvy mechanic, you can have the dealer or an independent do the install for you. If you do go for the MPBK, make sure you have the dealer code your vehicle following. This is necessary to take full advantage of the kit and improve pedal feel.

No, I'm running the MPBK blanks in the rear, F85/X5M cross drilled up front.
