20 inch M-Sport Rims

Does anyone have any idea the invoice cost of these rims? I would like to negotiate the price of an X5 and have these rims swapped for the 18s on the vehicle at cost.

Thanks!

Part numbers are located here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...76&hg=36&fg=15

Front wheels as a pair: http://www.bmwpartsupply.com/OEMPart...117846790.html

Rear wheels as a pair: http://www.bmwpartsupply.com/OEMPart...117846791.html

The price is going to be close to those figures. $700-800 front, $800-900 rear - depends on where you get it from. I'm sure dealer will give you the price in the lower range. That's JUST the wheels...not tires.

Thanks! So, when I'm looking at these prices, the cost to the dealer would be the cost of these MINUS the 18 inch rims/tires I'm exchanging, correct?

Yep, that's generally how it works. Go this route if you absolutely want those wheels. The other option is to sell yours in mint condition and get aftermarket wheels. Hope that helps.

Last question Opasha - can your rim guy get these rims?

rims on a member named sedan_clan's older model x5. They appear to be a 22 inch version of the m-sport rims. Someone later in the thread (http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showt...=777653&page=4) says they are an x6 300M replica.

Funny you mention that. He sent me 20" replicas of these exact ones for LatinBimmer before he decided on buying the Gunmetal Niche wheels. I'll ask him tonight or tomorrow when he has time to see if he has the ones you posted still. Which size are you interested in?

I'd prefer 22 if he has them. If they are 20s I might see what this dealer can do regarding a swap of the 18s for the 20s (which saves me from having to sell the 18s to make up the cost).

Oh, I'm sure he can get 22's, I was just making sure. I have been replying in multiple threads to people asking about wheels so I forgot, lol. 22" are great because it fills the wheel well nicely without having to lower it at all. That's why I picked it and it looks great.

I agree. Yours look great. If the price isn't too high, I would love to put the ones show on sedan_man's ride on mine.

Since it's an older style wheel it should not be anymore than $1400 for wheels and tires. Mine were $1628 (free shipping) with wheels and tires for 310M (newer) style. Here's an ebay link for a company in California that sells them: http://www.ebay.com/itm/22-WHEELS-FO...009c27&vxp=mtr. It seems Wheel Plus (the ebay company I ordered from) doesn't have many 22" options anymore for BMW. That's for you to compare prices and make sure that my friend has a good price and as a backup in case he can't find it.

Do you like the 22" 599M style? Just curious since I saw these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/22-inch-BMW-...9b42e6&vxp=mtr, but they are probably more expensive with tires.

I do like that second style you linked. It's hard for me to determine without seeing them on an x5. Is there an appropriate offset range? I don't want the rims to stick out from the wheel wells.

22x10 offset 40 is what I have on all four of mine. Here's my thread so you can see how they look: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=974651. 22x10 offset 40, 22x11 offset 35 is for staggered and actually looks better - I didn't know much about this and wish I had gotten 22x11 for my rear wheels. Some members have done 22x10.5 with 22x12. It won't stick out. This is the second wheel in 21", which I'm sure you've seen all over:

22" won't be that much bigger.
