I have these spec's: S522A Xenon Light S524A Adaptive Headlights S563A Light package S5A1A LED Fog lights S5ACA High-beam assistant but I could not find 5AP AND 8S4 I wounder if there is any other coding to enable anti-dazzle I have xenon adaptive headlight with HBA which is enough for anti-dazzle as I read in the pdf you attached. these are my codes: |

So...the new software update is still codeable with all the previously codeable items? Sorry, I'm just one of those guys who need to be told something twice because I'm so happy about this news.

Opasha, I just got my X5 (took over a lease). The precious lessee had it coded but said he lost it after he took it in for service (although I think it still is as the rear & front cameras can be turned on at any speed). I have ordered the cable and hope to check this out next week. Are you planning to document the new process? Even if mine's not updated I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it is and for those who are already on 55.1 would sure appreciate it

What I-level are you on? If you are on 15-03-501 or 502, you are on 55.0 or 55.1, so you will be having issues. I am not able to help anyone at the moment. Too busy with moving and other things this whole week. I will work on that later when I get time. All of you on the newer firmware will have to sit tight this week, but I will eventually help you.

Edit: After a week, I'm not seeing the lights move for traffic in the opposite direction. When I approach another car heading in the other direction, the lights just drop to low beam. It does seem to work for traffic in the same direction though. I'll keep testing it to see on different roads and I'm going to confirm the coding again this weekend. Edit 2: I did some more testing on roads with higher speeds and was able to see the glare free feature working. I have to confirm on the coding, but it appears that glare free is not active until the car exceeds about 45-50 mph. Originally, I had incorrectly assumed that once the high beam assist was activated at 25 mph, that the glare free was also active, but this is clearly not the case. I could not see an obvious "tunnel" with less light, but it was pretty obvious that the other cars on the road in both directions were not being fully illuminated by my headlights. I will say that I did get flashed by a couple of the cars in the other direction (maybe 4 out of 20 or 30 cars), but I find that I often see other cars flashing their lights even when the LED's are on low beam, and it did not appear that these cars were being illuminated by the full brightness of the lights, so these drivers may have been reacting to the general lights and not specifically to the glare free. I think the psychology of seeing the four illuminated lights which are always on makes people think the high beams are on even when they are not. Frankly, I'm not sure most U.S. drivers are ready for this....... I want to test this from the perspective of another driver, so I'll drive another car and see what it looks like. If there are any other members in the Bay Area who want to run a test by driving together, let me know and we can set something up. |

REMINDER_TRIGGERS_EIN_AUS not found
I just added 6NS (my first coding, so I followed every single step as described in OP). I can now get OFFICE in the main menu, and can also see my text messages. I still can't see my emails. When I looked for the parameters mentioned in the OP, all of the office parameters are present and are active, except "REMINDER_TRIGGERS_EIN_AUS", which is not found in my system.
The issue I have is, I can't get my emails, and the car does not display an indicator when I receive a text, but I can see that text under messages. I am using Samsung Note 3 with 4.4.2 kitkat. |

Thanx, but not really clear, could you please explain in details, what do you mean? To add in VO 8TL and that's it? Last edited by igorsvrub; 04-15-2015 at 05:36 AM.. |

Is there a "master listing" of the VO codes for our F15's? Something that basically charts what each code is, like 6NS/8S4/8TL, etc? And also which ones can be added or shouldn't based on our install equipment?
Maybe I've missed it, but I'm pretty sure I've looked all through this thread & others...apologize if it's out there, thanks! Last edited by airboss1971; 04-15-2015 at 02:27 PM.. |
