Bit unrelated to subject for VLD is it just to remove 8S4 and VO code the relevant tree. I have xenon adaptive and through FDL coding it does not move sideways when I steer but not sure if the beam changes vertically depending on speed. Would that work only if you remove 8S4? Dont want to open new thread as I have experts here sharing the info. |

I found this on other thread so seems this is what I did. In my case I activated feshasmode5.
If you go into the ICM module then the 300A DSC ICM CODIERDATEN folder. Towards the middle you will see a few feshasmode codes. Mode 1 = Comfort Mode 2 = Comfort + Mode 3 = not sure Mode 4 = Sport Mode 5 = Sport+ Mode 6 = Don't know yet Mode 7 = Eco Pro Mode 8 = Edrive (not relevant) You can turn any of these on (even though most are on by default) by activating the corresponding feshasmode code. For example, to turn on comfort+, you would change feshasmode2 |

I think you should move here https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...33991&page=235 and search in that thread.

Well oh well. I did the FA route for 2TB after I succeeded with 8S4 decoding. Now I see 2 fault codes in ISTA. I did all the steps like code appropriate VO, disable paddle verbaut but still I see these which I am unable to clear. The car runs fine and works as expected. Just annoyed with these error codes. Now left with only 2 codes as the lamp one got cleared. Thoughts?

Even you decoded shifters ISTA still wants to see that connection, nothing you can do about it. Car will not show you any errors (since you decoded the paddles) but ISTA is diagnostics application and with 2TB it is looking for paddle shifters, tries to run tests and it fails. As I said earlier there is no point to code Sport+ w/o shifters, you said that it's for "comfort" and you look into the wheel with shifters later, so enjoy your comfort, nothing to worry about here. Stop trying to literally re-invent the wheel.

ICM-> FesHasMode5: aktiv if paddles exist: BDC_BODY 3390 -> Paddles_verbaut -> aktiv Do you include this option? BDC_BODY -> 3221 PfFesMaster --> FesHasMode 5 --> set to "Aktiv" Last edited by snex; 04-30-2021 at 05:00 AM.. |
