You have Trimmed PSdZData, which means either you do not use E-Sys Launcher to open E-Sys, or E-Sys Launcher is outdated, or E-Sys Launcher has Incorrect Car Series, or E-Sys has Incorrect Target Connections.

For proper connection:
  • Make sure motor is running if car is not connected to External Charger.
  • Disable Third party Security Suites (ie Antivirus / Firewall / etc)
  • LAN Adapter is set for DHCP and not using a Static IP.
  • The Target Connection Window should not be blank (See multiple target connections for different chassis)

Having issues connecting to my car after following all the ESYS guides. Got a token, extracted psdzdata into the Data folder and cant get any targets to load when trying to connect to my car.

Any ideas or help?!

At this point, im willing to just pay someone locally or remotely to code the few things I have picked out already.

Extract PSdZData only with WinRAR or 7-Zip.

If the "Open Connection" window under "Target" is empty (no targets), verify the following:
  1. That the "psdzdata" folder is installed properly (From the PSdZData_Lite or PSdZData_Full extraction, copy the "psdzdata" folder to "C:\Data\" (i.e. "C:\Data\psdzdata")
  2. That the psdzdata chassis folders each have an empty "dist" folder. Make sure that there is an empty "dist" folder in each of the psdzdata chassis folders, and if missing, create as needed, e.g.:
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F001\F001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F010\F010_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F020\F020_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F025\F025_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F056\F056_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\I001\I001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\K001\K001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\KE01\KE01_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\RR01\RR01_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
  3. The the E-Sys "Options" => "Settings" => "Directories => Data: path" is set properly (e.g. "C:\Data")

Quick question, I am sorry but I've tried to find among the 170 pages.. I got my adapter, Bimmerlink and Bimmercode. I've been able to successfully connect to the vehicle and make the necessary changes. However when I hit "code" it tries to open Bimmerlink I think but because I don't have an internet connection (I am connected via the adapter) How do I successfully send the codes to the car? Is there a connection sequence I am missing? Thank you in advance for the help!

So got E-SYS installed, did some basic coding and got my navi updated, but I'm looking into the No Glare High Beams coding and it seems to be a little bit unclear which way should i go. I see this guide here: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...&postcount=107
And this post here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...2&postcount=60
Second one does look easier to me,will this still work on my 2014 F15?Or i have to do everything manually?

You can sort of do the second version, just make sure to use my Launcher Cheat codes that are specifically labeled for F015. The same lighting modules are used in multiple chassis (F010, F080, F015, etc) and coding is different.

They are included in Launcher. You can also find latest at Git.

2016 X5 xDrive 40e question.

Does engine need to be running to code or is plugged in charging ok.
Since it’s the plug in starting doesn’t actually start the motor and just turns on using battery.
Is this enough to prevent the 12 volt system from draining?
If there is a full battery charge will that be enough and be the same as say a 35i with the engine running?

You can do offline coding to make all changes disconnected from vehicle. Then, if quick applying, the plug or sometimes nothing is enough. Otherwise, it is better to run actual engine.
