A/C has a funny sound on starting up...
OK, this isn't exactly a honeymoon wrecker, deal-breaker kinda emergency - but, 2 days into the X5 xDrive35i, and I realize that the A/C makes a funny "water running through the pipes" kinda sound on starting up. It's set to 22°C, on auto-recirculation. The "water gurgling in the pipes" last no more than 10 seconds, and there's no odor, no ill-effect on the cooling ability (in fact, the X5 has the fasting cooling A/C by a country mile!). Once the gurgling stops, the A/C hums silently, does its job without complaint, and freezes my hands solid - it's that cold!
Anyone else encountered something similar? I've never had anything like this in either my old E65, F30 (both sold), F02 or F13, so I'm on unchartered waters at the moment. Any pointers/tips/hints/ideas would be most appreciated! Cheers, Wobbles |

Seems normal. Here's a thread where some of us discussed it: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=992670

This is how mine operates as well. No issues either.
