Really? I'd definitely pay $400 if I had to. What's your source? I just want to have something I can show to my sales rep.

No interior design packages in Canada? Or do they specifically not include the leather dash? Lack of demand is entirely BMW's fault, they don't do enough advertising as to how much better the stitched leather dash looks, IMHO.

after a far too arduous process, i finally received confirmation from the regional rep that the leather dash is included with the mocha interior design package. i wasn't happy with his tepid response, so i decided to attempt to get confirmation.

late last week, i had a business trip that included dinner with my brand agency and their chief strategist. that's when i remembered the new account the agency won last year...yep, bmw na. the strategist on my account is also point person for the bmw account & has forged a great relationship with them over the past year.

long story short, i received the following confirmation directly from the bmw na x5 product manager today:

"The mocha interior design package includes a black leather dashboard already, which is why you can't order the stand-alone leather dashboard option."

during the conversation, i somehow found a way to mention my production number...just in case. lol

Nappa seats (which come with Leather Dash in contrasting colour) are available in Canada but only as Special Order (price 1900 + 400 special order fee).

In Canada, do you know for the 2015MY, can you get the Mocha leather package with the M-Sport package?? Difficult to get an answer from the dealer, they don't seem to know at all.
