Interior Wood Trim Cleaner

Anyone knows what should be used for interior wood trims, just maintaining them. Will a regular wood furniture cleaner be safe ?

It has a polyurethane coating, so mild soap and water is fine. If you get fine scratches in the plastic coating, you can buff them out with the right equipment. I use a good car wax for these parts (same coating, basically) which keeps it relatively clean with a clean soft rag.

3 parts water and 1 part simple green works great.

Dust it off with Swiffer duster to get rid of any invisible build up of dust/dirt then follow with Huggies Pure & Natural baby wipes followed with microfiber towel. Works wonders.

All three readily available around the house, and no mixing or special cleaners required. I never had a problem with this set up on my poplar trim.

It's a plastic coating that you actually treat, not wood. I use lexol because its supposed to have UV protection and prevents plastic from becoming brittle, which causes cracking

Nice! Which specific Lexol product(s) do you use?

Sorry, I meant to say vynilex. It's in the blue bottle. Lexol is for leather and in the brown bottle
