AHL
Replaced Xenon bulbs without issue (at least I thought) but I almost immediately after replacing I am seeing an adaptive headlight malfunction indicator on the dash. It is the drivers side for sure. When I start the car. The headlights pans far left and then far right, then up / down ever so slightly and then returns to essentially the middle.
8041BA AHL: System Defective 8041FB Left Headlight driver module (TMS): AHL error I disconnected the battery thinking that may reset any short circuit protection but I may be wrong in that assumption. Will disconnecting the battery reset that? I have bimmercode but not sure I can do what is needed with that app and also a newb in the coding world. Any thoughts? |

I pulled fuse 39 and 57 (under Glovebox). They were fine but I will check again. With the fuses removed, the headlights still worked so I assume these belong to some of the ancillary functions of the HL such as AHL??
I didn't check the BDC fuse 10 which also says is associated with the left headlight though. Would those be it or are there others associated with the AHL? |
Appreciate
