Striking resemblance- X5 vs Sam the Eagle :)

Walking to our X5 the other day when wife makes interesting comment: "the truck looks just like the eagle from the muppet show..." Looked up Sam the Eagle, and I have to agree. Hilarious. It's one fast muppet!

Lol, interesting observation. Car designers do actually get their ideas from animals. Just take a look at the Infiniti models. The QX56 looks like it was influenced by a manta ray. The FX37 looks like it came from a shark.

Back from dealer with M50d trim!

Could not figure out to post both photos- Got the Eagle back this week after a heartbreaking run in with a piece of particle board on the interstate at about 70mph with only 600 miles on the odometer
They did a nice job repairing the bumper below the left lower grill, and installed the M50d trim as well. Finally got to take a decent photo! Loving the Space Gray.
