Finally at home today!! Share some photos via my iphone. Check out the grills, vents and mirrors! Plus the leather and wood are very nice on this one. I'm very impressed with this X6.

Here are some two tone cognac and black interior photos. Unfiltered iphone photos only. It's very hard to get the really look. I'll try with better lighting to show you guys. But I would recommend to go for it!

Nice thought the middle of the seat was darker in real life. Still looks good though thanks.

PS
looks like creasing Leather is common on BMW even when new

that looks very similar to how i plan to spec mine. If you don't mind sharing some info...

1. Is that dark graphite metallic?

2. which wood trim is that? it looks like fine line oak wood correct?

3. I'm very curious about the cerium grey accents. Do the mirror caps and kidney grilles in cerium grey match the other metal accents? are the running board, metal at bottom intake on from fascia, and metal trim around windows cerium grey as well or are they the standard aluminum finish?

thanks

1) dark graphite metallic xLine
2) Fineline Oak wood
3) Cognac/Black Bi-Color Nappa Leather
4) Cerium Grey (darker) accents all around, mirror caps, all grills, front + side vents and around windows trim are same.
5) black roof rack
6) running board (I think) standard aluminum
7) Other options: Driver Assistance Pak, Dynamic Handling Pak, Lux seat pak, Cold weather, LED Lightning pak, premium pak, Active steering, Soft-close, HK sounds, top view cameras, 20" wheels and some other small items

Drove it to downtown for a dinner tonight in "comfort" and "eco" mode while in traffic. Feels like a M packaged 535xi, suspension is firm and steering is lighter. This is my first with "Active Steering". Power is enough and doesn't feel heavy but not powerful like my M4 or the 50i. Well, this is a 35i!

I'll try out the "sport" and "sport+" mode when I break in a bit more. I'll be installing my winters on Monday which I brought from "Need4Speed" here on the forum. Just hope they will fit.

You should wait until you kick it into sport mode? I guess that my car will never be the same since I've been driving around in sport mode every day since I got it!

The steering tightens up at all speeds when you switch to sport mode (so long you have 'drive train' selected for sport mode in the iDrive). I don't have active steering so I don't know if that will be the same for you. I tend to oversteer in comfort/Eco pro, but sport is pretty good.

thanks for the info mikli!

i think that settles it then. Dark graphite it is, x line for sure if all those accents are the cerium grey color. Also looks like those 20s match the accents too.

now i just need to decide between cognac bi color and terra.

The nappa leather in the F16 is like butter. My 5series loaner that I was given had black nappa and it was like a completely different leather.

Yes other than the colors then it is the type of leather that suit you. Nappa seems more delicate. Terra is nice and save money too. I just want to try the two tone on this one.

I understand. I would have gotten ivory dakota if they had let me have comfort seats with it. The only way that I could squish some ivory in there with comfort seats was to do the ivory/black design package. Money I would have rather not spent, but it sure makes it an awesome interior.

If I would have been able to experience the cognac leather beforehand, its entirely possible that I would have chosen that.

Welcome aboard! Love your color and trim combination! It's exactly my setup in X5!

That's one aggressive X6!

Will people please petition for a separate forum for F16? These pictures are killing me because I want one, and wife says no.

Love the seat color.

Two-tone looks good (well, the rest ain't too shabby either)!
Interesting how much more the wheel well gap stands out vs an X5 due to the sloped rear end, i.e. lowering in your future?
