I wondered, too, so I emailed asking. The reply stated it would be updated by the end of next week.

I signed all the paperwork for my X5 M last night, and filled out the rebate form this morning. Does anyone know if I need to wait until I take physical delivery next week at the Performance Center to submit the form, or is it acceptable to mail everything in now?

On a side note, last night was surreal signing for, and paying for a vehicle I've never seen in person, never driven, and never seen samples of colors/leathers ordered. I have seen/sat in a Melbourne Red with Silverstone interior X6 M, but never the X5 M.

If you've got delivery paperwork you can likely do it now. You can just scan it and email it too them too, btw.

Yeah - I walked past my car for the first time on the way to sign paperwork. I actually decided not to look(!) before I signed everything.... scary, isn't it? ;p

BMW CCA Member must be in possession of the vehicle at time of application

Thanks for the info. I saw the line you mentioned in the rebate form, as well. By law, possession can be as simple as executing the loan, getting title, and registering the vehicle, it does not have to include physically taking the keys in hand. Which is why I wondered if I could submit the form now, since I've met the three aforementioned items. It truly depends on how BMWCCA views possession. I'm going to shoot them an email requesting clarification.

Just an FYI- I heard back from BMWCCA, and they said the form can be submitted now, since all the paperwork is completed, even though I don't take physical delivery until next Tuesday.

Submitted my forms to BMWCCA and was told unless you have at least a year on books you can not submit. I deployed oversea and cancel, so after renewing it's only 9 months. Also, was told if ur a member of USAA you cannot get both rebates. So good luck to you who have had 12 months without a break.

I got mine today too! . Was worried I wouldn't get it as I purchased before they'd "allowed" it, and I also got a $1500 "loyalty rebate" for being an N63 (slightly older V8) owner.

All in all, I'm feeling more forgiving to the painful ordering process (although mine was nowhere near as bad as wdimagineer 's!)
