Used AHL module Reprogramming

Are there any guides on how to reprogram used AHL modules?

My driver side (adaptive) headlight module is malfunctioning and I have a used module, originally used on passenger side from a different car (f15/f16), lying around and wanted to install and reprogram. Is this even possible?

Thanks in advance!

I might be wrong but I don't think you need to re-program the modules, it was just 2-3 different versions based on the manufacturing date but I don't think these blocks are registered anywhere. Or you mean change Left/Right side re-programming?

Yeah, the module might have been taken off an x6 but attaching it to my x5 the module doesn't work at all. So two things need programming:

1. Re-program module to my x5 (if possible)
2. Re-program module from right to left
