My '17 40e and now 35d make it VERY clear if I do not have the key fob with me. Sounds and dash warnings. I am very surprised your F15 allowed you to drive away without a fob!

How about the people that drive around with no lights on at night, because the daytime running lights are on and likely their gauge cluster is lit. I guess they don't wonder why the rest of the lights in the car aren't on and their headlights are dim. Lol.

Same people that drive without keyfob, I presume.

Warning a lot will still not be enough for some, maybe a mechanical arm popping from under the dash and slapping the driver's face to wake up will do.

One local car wash always told the customers to take the fob from the car, and they can drive thru the cleaning process without the fob. And, they want to make sure the customers have the key all the way. They lost a few high end vehicles in the past because the fobs were in the cars.

That was new to me when I first learned that 7-years ago.

And, the warning of driving without the fob/key should be bigger and louder.

It is a little scary to me , that there are people here that can drive their cars multiple miles and not notice the chime and big notice on the I Drive screen and in your instrument cluster that the key is not in the car. What else has your attention that you can't hear/see the alert warnings? If you are any what observant of your surroundings (as anyone driving a car should be) there is NO WAY you should not see and hear the warnings the car gives you. SMH
