469M or 551 wheels

Have both sets, both 20's and trying to decide which wheels to use for summer and which for winter. What do you guys think is the better choice?
469M or 551?

Here is my opinion...

469M is common and looks great with summers.
551 is rare and IMHO doesn't look that great..

I'd put winters on the 551 so that I don't have to see it as often in the winter.

I like the classic look of the 469M.

I would get a square set-up for the winter.

Agree with above: 469m grows on you and it's really a great wheel (they are lightweight too btw - i discovered that when I was checking specs for different oem wheels)

keep 551 for winter

I mean they are elegant wheels, I can imagine my wife driving with them and having no issues, but...... come on, for us guys - it's no bueno

Almost makes me want to put them up for sale

469M looks sportier than the 551, didnt realize they are lighter as well.

I didn't want to offend you OP but since you feel that way.. I'll be super honest.. I wouldn't even consider putting those 551 on any car. Maybe there is a reason why its rare

Just noticed the 551 is inscribed with "BMW Individual" as well. Pricey option then?

Still have 29% of the votes going for the 551, which I admit do not look as sporty as the 469Ms but I thought they looked elegant at least! Why the strong opinion though? is it based purely on looks or we know its a bad wheel? should I be concerned having them on even with the winters?

I had never seen that wheel until you posted it. I personally just think it’s ugly lol.
