2018 F15 Coding Questions & Recommendations

It sounds to me like Bimmercode is the favorite over iCarly for simple yet functional? With other, higher-powered yet more complex solutions also available?

Is there any way to code for the fog lights to come on with low beams? Also, automatic wipers to be activated by default?

1. Yes, but disables ability to toggle.

Hi there,

Do you know how can I disable the fogs as turning lights? Any code should I be looking for?

I've seen one side fog lights turn on when I’m going to turn. Looks pretty stupid to me.
I thought my led headlight already rotate when I turn....

You could disable VLD.

Sorry for the thread revival. But can you disable the seatbelt chime with bimmercode?
Currently my seatbelt chime continues to beep even when stopped (0 mph), but not in park, and is extremely annoying.

Yes and also remove the indicator on the instrument cluster

HUD turn signals are possible for 6WA cluster, not for 6WB.
I did it with Carly, not sure about BimmerCode.

It is not an E-sys or BimmerCode limitation. It is a vehicle hardware limitation.

Parameters are present because same hardware (eg, HU_NBT) is used in multiple chassis. But, HUD turn signals will not work on vehicles with digital instrument cluster or fem_body.

yes it is. but on the cheat sheet hud turn signals is described as

HUD Turnsignal (does not work on 6WB)
HU_NBT 3001 HUD_TURNSIGNAL
KOMBI 3008 HUD_PIA_BLINKER
KOMBI 3000 BLINKER_HUD_ENABLE

strangely, i could not find "3000 BLINKER_HUD_ENABLE". but someone else pointed out "3003 HUD_BLINKER_ENABLE"

i got it working but the info i used didn't match the cheat sheet

Have read through many posts on here. some say that you are able to code extra colours for the ambient lighting.

I have a 2018 F15 X5 and use the bimmercode app.

when going into BDC 3007, I have several options of assemble and layer configurations....just not sure what to do with them? I would like to be able to get Red and green and darker blue....

Anyone successfully done this?

I have a 2018 M sport as well and coded everything listed below with bimmercode. Some were also coded in expert mode

Mirror Folding with remote and comfort access
M startup logo in idrive
legal disclaimer disable
seat belt chime disable
camera legal disclaimer disable
rear view camera zoom
tire pressure and temperature on vehicle status
dvd in motion
HUD lane departure display
ACC distance
Active blind spot at lower speeds (15mph)
one touch tailgate opening and closing
activated door tailgate button to close
DRL taillights
Euro emergency flash
Turned off fog lights when turning (corning wizard)
Turned off automatic steering column retraction
Start up in Sport mode
Deactivated start stop
Opening doors will not interrupt window roll up
Enable fog lights with high beams
Enable fog lights with parking lights only
Handle lights on when reversing
Raise seat temperature

you can do this in expert mode. Its under BDC_BODY then 3110 and find ASP_ABA_AKTIVIRUNG. Then choose to deactivate it. It works

Thanks Diesel 733. I won't waste anymore time looking into this. I guess they switched the ability for this knowing that it will come as standard on the G05.
