Looking for pictures of angel eyes: default vs 100% brightness

Hi,

I'm trying to find a picture of default brightness angel eyes vs 100% brightness angel eyes.

I thought a lot of people coded it, but could not find a picture for x5.

Does anyone have it? I would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance!

I think %100 is the same as day running lights. Just put your headlights off at night and you can see how bright that is..

They code it to have angel eyes at 100% at night, with the headlights on.

Normally the angel eyes are dimmed when the headlights are on, to prevent blinding incoming traffic.

i would be interested to see that too, been driving around with day running lights on and fog lights on. wonder if putting it on to 100% causes damage/burn out over time?

Of course you're gonna Lower the life of the leds by running them at a higher voltage. But they're still LEDs. Bound to last longer than you gave the car most likely.

Um..I just coded with bimmercode app and...I really can't see the difference.

It looks exactly the same to me. It's either the difference is really subtle or I code it incorrectly.

I coded FEM_01 section and changed the following items

Angel eyes brightness low beams to 100% - default was unknown.
Angel eyes brightness parking lights to 100% - default was unknown.
Daytime driving lights mode - active
Daytime driving lights brightness to 100%.

I had this same issue. Does not seem to be working correctly. E-mail support and let them know. I already did this and they said they are looking in to it. The more people to provide feedback the better.

Have you done coding with software instead by any chance?

Looking at the coding thread, it sounds like the brightness does not actually increase. Rather, it does not dim anymore with coding.

I haven't. Just been coding through bimmercode.

are your DRL (angel eyes) as bright as your parking lights (angel eyes)?

when i'm in auto mode during the day, the DRL angel eyes are on and are very bright. but if switch over to parking lights, the angel eyes are much dimmer.

This makes sense and has been driving me crazy as I didn't know this info. Haven't had my X5 long but I've noticed my angels look so nice and bright w/ headlights off but dull w/ headlights on. I can even see a color change. Without headlights = 8K angels, w/ headlights = 5K angels.
