2018 X5 35i iDrive software version and vehicle tracking question
Hello everyone,
I recently got my car back from the dealer and I believe they reset my iDrive software version. Upon receiving my car back I no longer have the option to enable vehicle tracking and I can no longer track it on my bmw app on my iphone. I also have lost remote unlocking/locking and remote window functions. It shows as "No active subscription". Also, I've lost real time traffic date on my navigation. I am unable to located or search destinations that previously existed. Is this because my 4 year/50K mile warranty expired already? Did the dealer upgrade my software to the wrong version? What is the most recent software version for a 2018 X5 35i? Thanks in advance! |

When I go to the bmw website it shows as this:
Your vehicle is up to date. BMW X5 SDRIVE35I, 2017, 5UXKR2C54J0Z15449 My car is a 2018, I'm not sure why it is showing up as a 2017. |

RTTI after 4 years or 50k miles is $50 per year, same with the My BMW connected drive access where you can unlock your car, etc. I have a 2018 X5 and just renewed my subscriptions.
