18 X5 35i Non M sport Project Car

This car got handed down to me a couple months ago and I want to make this my project car. Any mod suggestions? So far I have tinted the windows, gloss black grill, and chrome delete. Next i’m thinking of installing the M Performance muffler. I am also thinking of getting a tune but I want something not to pricey and just a plug in any suggestions?

How did you do the chrome delete? Did you remove all the chrome around the windows? I’d like to black out my entire F15. It’s in carbon black but has chrome trim.

Yes I just removed all the chrome around the windows with a vinyl wrap off of amazon and a heat gun. I will post a before and after.

Check my build thread, I’ve been through it and then some with this chassis. Lots of data.

I am a bit of a perfectionist took me almost a whole day first time BTW. If you are looking to do this I recommend looking for a vinyl wrap with 3m tape and using a heat gun.

Are those window trims easy to come off without breaking the tabs? I cringe because I have a 2015 and at this age, plastic is getting a little more brittle and I was planning to do the Cerakote to black them out. The removal is what scares me if I break some tabs and can't put them back on.
