vehicle anniversary date for service/warranty

How BMWNA determines the date of vehicle for warranty purpose? Is it the production end date or when the vehicle title was issued or delivery or purchased date?

I ordered the x5 and PCD delivery 45 days later. Prior to the delivery, I settled the invoice and registered the vehicle. Soon after, the production was completed.

Which date do I go by for warranty?

I believe is the date of delivery. Because upon delivery, the car is theirs, technically.

Delivery is usually "day 1" for warranty purposes. However, since you already registered the vehicle prior to delivery, one could argue that warranty started on that day you became the legal owner of the car. This would only matter if the car breaks down within a few days of the warranty expiration. Then you would have to prove that delivery didn't occur until a certain date. Ask the dealer to show you in the contract the exact date you should start counting.
