Why do you need to replace it? Have you tried cleaning it out? You can find solutions on You Tube.

You can also try eBay to search for one. If you buy it from BMW, it's north of $2k without installation.

DPF also has an extended warranty in North America as far as I remember.

Talking about Federal Emissions warranty, 8 years/80,000 miles. I think it should cover DPF?

Quick fix ?
I've had that code come in couple months ago, so I replaced it with a new Particulate Matter Sensor P/N:13628582024 ~$200. Although it looks like your typical O2 sensor attached to a small module. The needed Flare nut wrench size was much larger, I believe 29mm off the top of my head. Simple replacement but gaining access to the plug was a pain with all the heat shields it was tucked under.
