First set of wallpapers taken in Cape Town, South Africa. They seem to like this location for new releases.

Either way, the performance is GOOD! The F15 50i is now very much close to E70 X5M |

I like x5s in general. My wife drives E70 and we both like it! However, I'm not impressed with the design of F15 so far! I was impressed with new 3,5,6 series from the very first time I saw them but the new X5's exterior design is just not my cup of tea. Looks more like X3 to me that I find one of the ugliest BMW cars ever!

I always try to look at the half full of the glass...
With the recent evolution on SUV's from other automotive brands specially Mercedes, Audi and Infiniti, I was expecting a bigger entrance from "The Boss is Back"... Now, I'm not questioning this new X5 by any means (with the exception of the Fog Lights placement?!); but I have some concerns: - The car does not bring any new excitment as to "wow, I've got to own this car" or "damn, this will be my next BMW!"... - I think it will do better in capturing new marketshare than "trade in's" from current BMW owners... As the owner of the new X3 and new 3 series, it doesn't really give me enough incentive to trade any of my 2 BMWs (once their time're up of course) for this X5. - the interior is a major improvement to the previous model, but still it is in the "Me-too" market. overall, I'm sure it will be a great car...but no Wow factor! |

... not sure yet.
I love the interior. The exterior will need to grow on me ... UNLESS that "M Package" is accurate. If it is, then I'll trade in mine for another.
I was going to trade in for 550 M package. But, I'll stick with the X5. |

The truck is gorgeous. Once you see the video it's pretty apparent that my E70 looks dated now. Can't wait to see this in the showrooms

Yeah, so was the Jaguar XF, but funal production didn't look like that.
So is the new 4 series, but already I'm seeing that final production doesnt look like the original presentation. So, I'm loving the interior (I certainly wont get 3rd row again). I like the dual rear screens instead of the center console. I already have the luxury seats, Nav, sound system, comfort access, full beige interior, etc. I'll get all those things again, but I'll only want the M Package ... {if} it looks like the picture. White ... all day, every day. Lighter AND faster - can't beat that. Think I'll go for the V8 this time around. I'm too immature to drive slow. |

Nice looking interior and great savings in weight (230lbs for the xDrive 50i). I still prefer the first gen X5 exterior styling though. That is a classic design. The exterior design just doesn't blend well. Perhaps too busy and as though they're trying too hard.

Like all current BMW's. I bet it looks way better in person/on the road than in pictures.

The photos of the X5 M Sport is from a BMW German price list, showing the production X5.

I hate the new BMW "sound logo" that they put at the end of the commercials now, It's horrible! The old one wasn't great either but this new one sucks! It's so busy and rushed. To my ears it's not dynamic at all, just a bunch of noise. It doesn't blend at all with what the brand should portray IMO: powerful, confident, smooth and dynamic. |

Not impressed at ALL...
Similar feeling to what happened when BMW released their new 1 series. May grow on me once they stick an M package on it but it seems to me that first BMW wrecks the design and then works hard on salvaging the model. |
