Mostly Comfort Mode.
I don't think it was the tuner chip. I tested it with it off, and I still get the same.
Maybe because I drove around with a lot of stop sign and stop light street.

@Barbja, see, that's why I figure also. Enjoy it while you can. Haha. Why would I spend money stylin' my car but I gotta drive it like a Prius. (No offense to Prius owner, but they all drive slow ).

because think on trigger on the last minute on the 50i, i will get the excellence not the m sport, and this one do not have the stock msport suspension,
I would prefer a tighter suspension because I prefer more control over my vehicles. I used to drive an Infiniti FX35 (very tight suspension vehicle). You don't need M suspension. Get DHP if you want a tighter drive/less body roll.

It doesn't help that Prius-es have a snail-like 0-60 of >10sec! Even a Ford transit van does better than that.

I like to think "you get 0mpg at stop lights...". Sure, THAT's why my mileage is less than stellar. Yes.

Lol, my reasoning was that he floors it more than normal. I should have said "heavier" foot. Of course, there are other factors aside from just moving from a dead stop. However, considering he is getting the mpg of something similar to the 5.0i on a good day, there's def more power/gas being used in some way.

Same here in our 35i. Mostly local driving but honestly, even highway for some trips this summer, don't think I got above 18 or so. To be fair, I never did check the mpg for the whole trip when done or even each way, but when I did glance at it here and there during the drive, it wasn't ever over 19. We are getting no better than I got on my 4.8i E70. It may actually be slightly worse, which is puzzling to me..
