You don't need to be "highly certified" to diagnose with ISTA since it gives you everything needed to troubleshoot the car. So if someone tested with ISTA, what are test results? I seriously doubt that there are no issues there. One way or another you need 3 things to get the engine running- fuel, air and ignition. No point mess with modules (if they are original according to you) unless you got 3 things above crossed off your list.

Yes all modules are oem that came with suv from factory he said no faults stored as well we did re coded everything fuel is present not sure if present past the injectors bc we don't see any fuel geting 2 spark plugs and spark plugs are in decent shape we replaced injectors back in from the oem engien 2 the swap not the issue air is fine and it starts up when we add starter fluid but dies off so we think its a fuel problem. Or ignition? I thought it was going 2 be a easy swap

Since you posted here I guess you are expecting some sort of advice but with information provided its impossible to suggest anything because you are not providing any particular details. You are not the first one who did N55 engine swap, people even put it into E91 https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...1288745&page=3 Provide information. Do you know if your donor engine is tested/confirmed working? Did you test fuel injectors? Installed new spark plugs? Is your mechanic aware that there are 2 different versions of injectors? https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...lines/HESsGLge How about sensors? Oxygen control sensor? Crankshaft sensor? Post some ISTA screenshots.

Check your fuel injector harness for power while cranking. Use a test light or noid light. If no power, then you have a computer issue. Could be security system related. Or maybe you dont have your crankshaft sensors connected right. Computer may not know engine is spinning while cranking.

It is impossible for ISTA not to show any error related to this.

This thread is a waste of time. The OP does not even bother to type properly...

No way you run ISTA and it did not show you a problem with the sensor, and just like I said earlier for gas engine its always on of the 3- fuel, air, ignition. Simple.

yeah ISTA did not show it as a error code. We even swapped DME then I went back a few steps and had the answer all along in a screen shot. When doing a hpfp they recommend getting a new sensor all I did was swap in from my the old oem engine sensor cuz like I said it did start with that engine so it started like New no problem has been running great ever since.
