first offer 18 35d lease

ordering a 2018 35d
MSRP 74,295 (with delivery)

first offer from dealer
MSRP 74,295
savings 4000
rebate 2000
cap cost 68,295
fees 418
total 68, 713

down 2000

residual 58% which is 43,091

monthly payment 875.83

just realized that is for 10K miles. Will reevaluate for 12K (not sure if that will change anything, as that's the appropriate residual, I believe)

thoughts? First offer, but I'm hoping I can do better.

As a side note, I'm also ordering a 2018 M3 as well -- hoping that 2 vehicles will lead to a better deal.

Push for at $67k after discounts. Note that you will be taxed on rebate as well.
Good luck.

Lease Credit

BMW website is showing a $3000 Holiday Lease Credit for the 2018 X5 35i through November 30th. Does anyone know if this credit is good for vehicles ordered, and delivered next year, or does it have to be used for vehicles on the lot.

Also, does anyone know of any additional discounts? e.g. Loyalty, other?

Thanks.

Between 9-10% based on msrp.
Higher the msrp..more discount.

And this is before rebates incentives...currently $3k for x35i and $6k for 40e
Plus fleet, usaa, or college if you qualify.

For me total of $7k for rebates.

Thanks.
Do the credit app now and lock in nov program. You can chose between current program or at the time of delivery.

No loyalty for X5.

Sticker on my new x5 was 70500. Adjusted cap was just over 60000.

Lowest money factor they can do, .00152.

I'm pretty happy with the deal, after I signed the salesperson said it was one of the more aggressive deals he has seen. Idk if he was trying to make me feel good, but seems 10k discount from MSRP is a good deal.

Curious. I ordered and put down a deposit for a car now sitting on the dealer lot. My plan is to pick it up in about a month when the last month of my current lease ends. Am I eligible for the $3,000 rebate that’s now out there? Is that just on a purchase or lease too? Would i basically have to renegotiate my current deal to get it? This is on a 2018 50i.

You should have a 30 day lock on your approval and deal. The rebates are good until Jan 4th.

Can you check one thing quickly, if you have picked up 2018 40e?

According to this pdf, headliner (roof interior) supposed to be Oyster color for Ivory and Mocha Dakota leather pkg. picked up today with Ivory pkg and headliner is black color.

Could you pls. report what interior leather pkg you have and color of headliner is.

See attached pdf pg1.

That’s what I don’t understand. I signed an order sheet that listed my monthly payment based on my deal and put down a deposit. Ordered car around October 25. The car is now sitting on the lot but I wasn’t planning to actually go and ‘lease’ it until December 20 or so.

This $3000 holiday lease credit wasn’t on offer when I signed my deal. Can i get it now?

Yes you can, they can relock you into the November or December program.
I ordered mine beginning on Nov and can wait until dec to pick it up if I want to see what December programs are. But most likely I'll be picking it up as soon as it hits the dealer lot.

No. I got lux line.

If you look at ordering guide. They have this option standard for every model. X35i, x35d, 5.0 etc. I don’t see any option for headliner in M sport pkg.

775 Anthracite headliner

Great, thanks. I just emailed my dealer. They should be indifferent, right? I could understand if money factors or residuals changed in November but unless the dealers incentives were changed from last month to this month I don’t see why it should matter to them, right? Holiday lease credit is just an extra bonus for customers, it shouldn’t impact dealer economics.

Correct. They can be dicks about it and push the car for the month, most dealers are understandable and will hold the car since the program and incentives are good until Jan 4th.
