Coding For Adaptive Headlights

I might be ordering in the next couple of days (x50i). I want to keep open the option of coding for Adaptive Highbeam Headlights later if I choose to. Need to know what options I need to order to make sure that is possible. I know I need the "Lighting Package" to get the LED lights. I was planning on getting the "Driver Assistance Plus" anyway. Do I also need the "ACC Stop & Go"? Or do I need the "Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection" option? Or both? Or neither?
Thanks.

Are you sure kafas camera is required? I was told it isn't just the led package.

Excellent. I was planning on getting those anyway. Glad I don't have to get the pedestrian detection or stop and go. Thanks.

Who here coded their lights to have adaptive headlights themselves? And know FOR SURE it's working. Not remote coding. I got mine coded and can't tell if it's working or not. I'd like to comparing the code, if someone's willing to share the procedures.

Any idea why those adaptive lights are not standard with even the LED lighting package. Odd that we've got to code that in.

wdimagineer, can you send me a PM with instructions on how to find and code this.

US law. Prohibits leaving high beams on, even if they are anti-dazzle. At least, that's what I've heard. You don't have to code to get this feature in other countries.

I had read that it was some outdated US law which mandated that a switch must be used to engage high-beams.

Z, Ben coded everything for you correct? I don't have the LED package, but my DRL Tail Lights work. Do you have the LED Lighting package? Obviously I haven't done the adaptive headlight coding because it won't work for me, but I do know how to do it following Ben's cheat sheet. If you need help to make sure they are coded correctly and have the software and ENET OBD2 cable, I can help you remotely via Team Viewer. PM me if this the case.

@r33, was there something missing for Z's coding? I remember you told me you tried DRL Tail light coding on his, but not sure. I'm just double checking with you to figure out Z's issue. Thanks.

Did you have this listed in your Cheat Sheet? I don't remember seeing it, but I do remember it being discussed. Should I do some research on it or do you know where it is located?

@wdimagineer...hey bud, do you mind chiming in to let me know where it's located if we are not sure? Thanks.

@opasha, I read about it somewhere and got it coded in my car, but due to living in big city such as Los Angeles, I have no way to test it. So, I can't confirmed that I did it right yet.
Oh, I don't have it in my list since it hasn't been confirmed.

PM sent . I think I found it! Fingers crossed...let me know after you read it all.

Here's the thread for anyone that wants to give it a try and knows coding: http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1003379. The guy made a video as well.

You can compare that coding to this original coding for our F15 discussed between wdimagineer and other members: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/arc.../t-763557.html

I can confirm that with the LED package the euro high beams work on my 14 F15. I also don't have the AAC/Speed Limit package option (can't remember what its called right now). My coder told me that I don't have the KAFAS camera either since I don't have that package. So just confirming that particular camera shouldn't be required.
